The Family Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association will hold a CLE entitled Ethics and Procedures for PFA, Pro Se, and Pro Bono Litigants on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, 2:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m in the ACBA Conference Center Auditorium, 920 City County Building, 9th Floor, Pittsburgh.

Lawyers can find themselves in difficult situations when representing pro se or pro bono litigants.

  • When is the attorney/client relationship established?
  • Is communication with the law clerk considered ex parte?

This program is going to explore those scenarios and provide updates and current law regarding PFAs, the Pro Se Program, the Adult Family Court Manual, and the Judicial Schedule.
