Lawyers Alliance for New York presents its ninth annual full-day training program for current and prospective pro bono attorneys, counsel to nonprofits, and other interested attorneys. Taught by Lawyers Alliance's legal staff, the program is designed to help attorneys represent community development and other nonprofit organizations in business and transactional law matters. Whether you are a new or experienced attorney working in this area, there are many important legal principles governing nonprofit organizations that you should know to help you best represent your client.
