This training will explore the types of immigration cases where gender-based asylum may be a possibility. We will discuss how to frame a gender-based asylum case in light of recent case law, build an evidentiary record, and navigate special challenges that arise when working with victims of gender-based violence. The training will be conducted by Archi Pyati, Asylum Attorney at Sanctuary for Families.
