This webinar is presented by the State Bar of Georgia Veterans & Military Pro Bono Committee and the State Bar of Georgia Pro Bono Project.

This webinar will address employment protections for servicemembers under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). Learn about employee eligibility and job entitlements, employer obligations, benefits and remedies under the federal statute.

Presenter: Mr. Kenan Torrans, Veterans Employment and Training Service, U.S. Department of Labor. In his capacity with the US Department of Labor, Mr. Torrans deals with the USERRA from a complaint/investigation perspective as well as writing the USERRA regulations and beyond. He has lectured in Georgia at the Army JAG School and is a subject matter expert in this area.
