This training session is intended to prepare pro bono attorneys to help indigent clients file their U visa applications. Topics include an overview of immigration legal concepts, U Visa eligibility, advocating for your client with law enforcement, possible barriers to eligibility, and the nuts and bolts of preparing a U Visa application.
<br /><br /><br />Requirement: Training participants must agree to accept one pro bono referral from at least one of the sponsoring organizations.
