Philadelphia VIP and the Philadelphia Bar Association will be presenting Ethics of Pro Bono on Friday December 5, 2008 at the Philadelphia Bar Association, 1101 Market St., 10th Floor Board Room, Philadelphia, PA.

Time: 12:00 pm to 2:15 pm - Lunch Provided.

Descrption. What are the ethical considerations in both the decision to do pro bono work and in the actual representation of clients? What are the consequences of this representation both for individual clients as well as for the legal system as a whole?

Presented in a lively and interactive format, this CLE course includes a discussion of Rule 6.1: Pro Bono Publico Service, the role of training in ethical representation,malpractice insurance, models for pro bono participation, and ethical considerations for volunteer attorneys.

Special considerations in the representation of low income clients will also be explored.
