Housing Court's Volunteer Lawyers Project ("VLP") offers 9 free C.L.E. credit hours in "Fundamentals of Landlord-Tenant Law" to enthusiastic attorneys willing to provide 12 hours of free legal information and advice to self-represented litigants in the Housing Courts' Resource Centers.

The 9-hour training program is taught by a team of landlord-tenant law experts in three, three-hour classes. Attendance at all three classes is a prerequisite to volunteering and receiving CLE credits.

Session I Nonpayment Proceedings

Session III HP, Ethics, Resource Centers
Thurs November 13, 2008 from 6PM - 9PM

Attendance at all three sessions is required.

  • CLE Credit Comments: Note: Attorneys admitted to the NY State bar for less than two years cannot receive CLE credit for watching video replays, but are welcome to attend the program, and if admitted, you may volunteer.
