\The Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) Program offers free Continuing Legal Education (CLE) training to attorneys interested in becoming a Guardian Ad Litem in Housing Court. Six (5 skills, 1 ethics) hours of CLE credit is offered for attending the one day GAL training. This required course is taught by a panel of experts in the fields of legal and social work advocacy and landlord-tenant law.

Video replays* of the most recent live training session will be held in NY County on November 2, 2007 from 9 to 5 PM. The next "live" training will take place in 2008.
